Expert faculty teach the 15 hour required classes on assessment, nutrition, resident rights, fire and safety, emergency procedures, and difficult residents; as well as 17 hours of electives including care planning, Alzheimer's, legal issues, prescription drugs, Parkinson's, fall prevention, community resources, depression and activities.
