Serving residents in Alamosa, Baca, Bent, Chafee, Cheyenne, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, Fremont, Herfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Minearal, Park, Otero, Prowers, Pueblo, Rio Grande and Saguache Counties, the Pueblo, Southern Colorado office of the Alzheimer's Association offers training for professionals in community-based and residential facilities who are caring for people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. Financial planners, banks, and other professionals receive training to understand the signs of dementia and the impact of that diagnosis on the family.
